Player Development Program
Our Player Development Program is for younger players (boys and girls) aged 3-8 years.
Service Description
This age-specific program prioritises creating a positive and enjoyable environment, emphasising skill development, and understanding competition. By adjusting the intensity and complexity of drills based on the age group's capabilities, we ensure the perfect balance between structured activities and free play. 3-4 Years - Introducing fundamental movements like running, jumping, and basic ball control. We look to develop motor skills and coordination through fun and engaging activities. We foster a positive association with the sport by incorporating imaginative play and basic teamwork. Animal play cards are also used to boost engagement, development, and understanding. 5-6 Years - Players continue building on their basic motor skills with more emphasis on running with the ball and simple passing techniques. We Introduce the concept of teamwork through basic group activities. There is a large focus on fostering a love for the game, keeping sessions playful, and incorporating superhero-based training sessions. 7-8 Years - In this stage, we refine basic ball control skills and become more confident with basic techniques like shooting and passing with understanding. We begin teaching basic positional awareness and encourage teamwork through small-sided games. Players will learn through small-sided games created around professional players and their abilities that our players will try to re-create. This program is a pathway into our yearly Academy.
